Tours and Visits:
Come in to the Library! Sign up for a special story time or a tour of the library. Teachers are encouraged to bring their classes to the library for assistance with research projects or simply for an overview of library procedures.
Curriculum Units:
We'll help you with special materials selection. Call, email or use our curriculum form to ask the librarians in the Children's Room for help and advice at selecting materials for your curriculum units. Give us 3 days notice and we'll put together a stack of age appropriate and curriculum-matched books, dvd's and/or computer games for you to pick up.
Research and Reports:
Are your students doing a research project? Call us or email us and we'll put aside materials pertaining to the subject just for your students.
Booklists:
Struggling to find just the right book for the age group that you teach? Check out our age appropriate book lists.
Extended Borrowing Privileges:
The library extends a teacher loan period of 6 weeks to any teacher including mentors of home-schooled children.
