What’s Happening
The Robbins Library Children's Room is a busy place. During the year we have many activities going on for children of all ages – babies to teens. Check out our on-line calendar for the most up-to-date schedule of events or, if you're in the library, pick up a copy of Round Robin News.
For Babies and Toddlers
Sing-a-Longs for Infants and Toddlers are held on most Tuesdays from 10:00 to 10:30. Special guest musicians lead young children and their adults in lively songs and singing games.
Toddler Storytimes are programs for children between 18 and 36 months and their parents or caregivers. These 15-minute storytimes encourage the greater use of books and language and are followed by a chance to socialize.
For Pre-Schoolers
Storytimes for 3-5 year olds with parents or caregivers. These 30-minute long programs are designed to introduce longer stories with more complex plots. They may be followed by a simple craft activity that encourages discussion.
For Families
Family Programs are offered at various times throughout the year for family members ages 4 to adult.
For School-Aged Children
Programs are designed to offer elementary and middle-school age students a variety of workshops and presentations periodically during the year.
