Holiday Closings

The Robbins Library is Closed on the Following days:

New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Patriots Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Arlington Town Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

The library will be open until 5 pm on the Wednesday preceding Thanksgiving Day, New Year's Eve and one half-day on the Friday before Easter.

Take Route 95 (Route 128) to Route 2 (east). Take exit 59 for Pleasant St./Route 60. Turn left onto Pleasant Street. Go one mile to traffic light. Turn left onto Mass. Ave. Go half a block and library is on the left. Parking Facilities: Parking at side of library and at yellow Robbins House. Bicycle parking is located along Mass Ave and between the library and Robbins House. Public Transit: MBTA bus routes 67, 77, and 79. Routes 80, 87 and 350 also stop nearby in Arlington Center.

Take Route 95 (Route 128) to Route 2 (east). Take exit 60 for Lake Street. Turn right onto Lake Street and go one mile to traffic light. Turn right. The library is on the left at the corner of Mass. Ave. and Cleveland Street. Parking facilities: on-street parking. Bicycle parking is located in front of the library and along Mass Ave. Public Transit: MBTA bus routes 77, 79 and 350. Nearest subway is Alewife (a 15 – 20 minute walk).
