The library is a five minute walk to the Blue Bike docking station at the Minuteman Bikeway. Arlington is a bike friendly community with well marked bike lanes and bike lights at some intersections. Bike parking is located on Peg Spengler Way between the library and Whittemore Robbins House (yellow house behind the library). Use bike racks for safe bike parking. Handrails and walkways must be kept clear at all times.

MBTA bus routes 67 and 77 stop directly in front of the library. Routes 80, 87, 95, and 350 also stop nearby in Arlington Center.
Driving Directions:
Take Route 95 (Route 128) to Route 2 (east). Take exit 134 for Pleasant St./Route 60. Turn left onto Pleasant Street. Go one mile to the traffic light. Turn left onto Mass. Ave. Go half a block and the library is on the left.
Parking:
Running in to grab a book? Park at the metered spots in front of the library and press any key for 15 minutes of free parking. Metered parking is available in the side lot at the rate of $1/hour, through a kiosk and through a pay-by-phone option. Download the free PayByPhone app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. The Russell Common Municipal Lot is a five minute walk from the library and includes over 200 parking spots metered at .50/hour. Metered on-street parking is available on Mass Ave. Free on-street spots are available on Maple Street, Academy Street, and other surrounding streets. Fox Branch Library is located at 175 Mass. Ave. in Mass Ave in East Arlington and is easily accessible by foot, bike, public transit, and car. Google Map

The library is a 5 minute walk from the Blue Bike dock at Mass Ave and Grafton St. Bike parking is located along Mass Ave and at the intersection of Cleveland St.

MBTA bus routes 77 and 350 stop near the library. The nearest subway is Alewife Station, a 15-20 minute walk.
Driving Directions:
Take Route 95 (Route 128) to Route 2 (east). Take exit 135 for Lake Street. Turn right onto Lake Street and go one mile to the traffic light. Turn right. The library is on the left at the corner of Mass. Ave. and Cleveland Street.
Parking:
Free on-street parking is available on Cleveland St. and Mass Ave.
