Are you a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) whose first language is not English? Is your goal to enroll in nursing school or another health-related program? This 12 week, 36-hour course offered by Lamplight Women’s Literacy Center will prepare CNAs for the Reading and English Language Usage portions of the TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills.) The TEAS is an admissions requirement for nursing programs that can be a barrier to nonnative English speaking applicants. Tuition is free.
