Cybersecurity is National Security: Bridging the Gap

May 5 at7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Lauren Zabierek,  Executive Director of the Cyber Project at Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs answers important questions about cybersecurity.  Cyberattacks are increasing in frequency, sophistication, and scale. Nation state actors and cyber criminals alike often target entities in the private sector, especially those deemed civilian critical infrastructure–a distinct and troubling departure from the boundaries of traditional conflict. What is this type of conflict we find ourselves in?  How does this impact our safety, security, and wellbeing?  What can we do?  Supported by a civic engagement series grant from the Arlington Libraries Foundation.
