Girls Who Code Club for Grades 6-12- FULL

An event every week that begins at 3:30 pm on Wednesday, repeating until June 14, 2017
Thank you for your interest in this program, we are currently at capacity and will no longer be accepting participants. We plan on offering this program again next year and we hope you will register at that time.
This school year, the Robbins Library will be hosting a Girls Who Code club open to girls in grades 6 through 12. The club will meet Wednesdays October 19 through June 14 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.. This program is for girls at all knowledge levels. It doesn’t matter whether you have no skills or have taken classes before, the curriculum is meant to meet you at your level.
Girls Who Code is a non profit organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in the technology field. By 2020, there will be 1.4 million jobs available in computing related fields. US graduates are on track to fill 29% of those jobs. Women are on track to fill just 3%.
