New Book and Open Mic

The Beehive Poetry Group invites you to the new Book and Open Mic Series.  This events will feature reading from recent publications by local poets, followed by and open mic for other poets to share their work.  The inaugural event in the series features  Thomas DeFreitas, author of Swift River Ballad, and Anne Elezabeth Pluto, author of How Many Miles to Babylon.   Open mic reading slots will be on a first come, first served basis, and open 15 minutes prior to the start of the event.  Books by the featured authors will be available for sale.   For more information, email jean.poetlaureatearlington@gmail.com.
