Queer Book Group: “Lot” by Bryan Washington

The Queer Book Group will be discussing “Lot: Stories” by Bryan Washington. Lot is a collection of connected short stories about black and Latinx communities in Houston. While it has a memoir like feel, it is fiction. Lot won a Lamdba literary award in 2020 for best gay fiction and you can read a review of Lot here. Copies are available at the Robbins Library circulation desk. We’ll be meeting in person on the 4th floor in Robbins and over zoom. Email jstarkey@minlib.net for the Zoom information.
The Queer Book Group meets from 7pm – 8pm every other month on the last Wednesday. You can attend in person or online. The next Queer Book Group will be on November 16th.
