Reel Queer: Paris is Burning

Come watch “Paris is Burning” at 6:30 p.m. in the Robbins Library Community Room.

“Paris is Burning” is a classic groundbreaking documentary about the drag ballroom scene in NYC in the late 80s. Interviews and clips highlight the lives of people in the scene as well as the struggles they faced. This is where drag lingo like throwing shade was introduced to the wider community.

Reel Queer is an intergenerational LGBTQIA+ movie night that happens every other month. The next movie night will be on August 11th at 6:30 p.m.
