Robbins – Mother Mountain Legend for Earth Day

April 20 at3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The Mother Mountain Legend is a story deeply rooted in the oral tradition of the Colombian Amazon and part of the eastern plains. Madre Monte is commonly represented as a beautiful and strong woman, half woman and half mountain; dressed in leaves and green moss, whose face cannot be seen. She is the protector of Nature. We’ll tell the story in Spanish and English and then do a craft! For ages 5+. Pick up ticket 1/2 hr prior.
