TEDxRobbinsLibrary: Communication

April 21 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Join us for our monthly TED viewing and discussion. Bring a lunch and watch 3 prerecorded TED talks on a theme. This month we’ll watch and discuss: Megan Phelps-Roper with “I grew up in the Westboro Baptist Church. Here’s why I left”, Sisonke Msimang with “If a story moves you, act on it”, and Celeste Headlee shares “10 ways to have a better conversation”. TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks 18 minutes or less. A brown bag lunch is welcomed.
