TEDxRobbinsLibrary: New Beginnings

Join us for our monthly TED viewing and discussion. Bring a lunch and watch 2-3 prerecorded TED talks on a theme. This month the theme is New Beginnings. We’ll watch and discuss: Elizabeth Lesser with Say your truths and seek them in others; Apollo Robbins on The art of misdirection and Peter Singer with The why and how of effective altruism. TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks 18 minutes or less A brown bag lunch is welcomed.
