Arlington Libraries Foundation
Established in 2013, the Arlington Libraries Foundation conducts fundraising appeals and campaigns, and secures and stewards the gifts, grants, and endowments that provide essential funds toward the library’s current and long-term goals. Donations to the Arlington Libraries Foundation benefit the Robbins Library and the Fox Branch Library. With the exception of non-monetary gifts of materials, collections, art or decorative objects as noted in the library’s gifts policy, donors are encouraged to direct gifts to the Arlington Libraries Foundation, the main fundraising 501(c)(3) of the library. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Friends of the Robbins Library
The Friends of the Robbins Library is a group of enthusiastic volunteers who support the Robbins and Fox Libraries through book sales, special programs, and membership support. The Friends maintain a year-round book sale on the fourth floor of the Robbins Library. The selection is updated frequently and the books are reasonably priced (50 cents to $2.00). Proceeds allow the Friends to offer the library financial support for the museum pass program and supplemental materials and programming for the Robbins and Fox libraries. Book donations are gratefully accepted, but we ask you to limit your contributions to one bag/box per day, due to storage limitations. A Friends membership means invitations to library programs sponsored by the Friends, early access to the Town Day and Children’s annual book sales, and a Friends of the Robbins Library tote bag.
The Fox and Robbin Shop
Located inside the Fox Library, The Fox and Robbin Shop is a donation-based non-profit children’s resale shop benefiting the Fox Branch Library. The shop is unique in that 100% of inventory comes from donated items; nothing is sold on consignment, and net proceeds go to the Fox Library. Through its operation, The Fox and Robbin Shop supports and encourages environmental sustainability through reuse and recycling, and provides a welcoming and supportive environment for people of all ages and skill levels to be able to volunteer or gain job skills.
