Improved lighting is coming to Robbins Library

We’re working to improve lighting and save money by installing new LED lights throughout Robbins Library. The library’s lighting has consisted of fluorescent lighting with some older generation LED lights. This project aims to address dim areas including stacks, halls, and stairwells, bring consistency to color temperatures thought the building, and reduce our electricity bills.

While this work goes on, some areas in the building will be dark and difficult to access. Staff area ready to help you find materials. This project is expected to be completed by December 15.
